Weekend Adventures

Note: I wrote this last week and didn’t get to post it.

Papa went on a camping trip so Des and I spent Friday all to ourselves and had a nice walk in Alki.

Saturday we were supposed to go see the tulips with friends but the traffic was so bad we decided to turn around. We headed to our next destination which was to see grandma and grandpa at Camano Island, plus see family that was visiting.

Des had such a great time with Uncle Jake (Nick’s cousin).

It was such a sunny weekend, that grandma couldn’t resist taking Des for a ride on the kayak.

I love Seattle in the spring. It really makes me appreciate all the flowers that bloom and the sunshine. It is great to be alive and to enjoy life fully with family and friends.
